Pinacoteca di Brera
One of Milan’s most important art museums
Located in the heart of the city, this gallery is housed in a historic 18th-century palace and showcases a stunning collection of Italian Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces. Here, you’ll find iconic works by artists such as Raphael, Caravaggio, Mantegna, and Bellini, among many others.
One of the highlights is Raphael’s Marriage of the Virgin, a masterpiece of harmony and perspective. You’ll also see Mantegna’s Lamentation of Christ, famous for its dramatic use of foreshortening.
The Pinacoteca di Brera is not just a museum—it’s a journey through Italian art history. Every painting tells a story, and I’m here to bring those stories to life for you.
